Bee homes/beds are special beehives/homes that enable humans to sleep on top of the hive or bread air that comes out of beehives to cure a wide variety of respiratory illnesses while relaxing. 

The idea of beehive homes or beehive beds like you see on this page is well known worldwide since ancient times.  It is now widely used and implemented in Europe. It has been proven that sleeping on the top of a beehive and breathing the air that evaporates from a beehive is very helpful in many ways.

1. Bees generate positive energy. This helps to relieve stress and insomnia and wake up fresh and full of energy. 
2. Breathing the air that comes out of a beehive helps with insomnia, asthma, and other respiratory diseases. 
3. Sleeping on top of a beehive helps to relieve many other medical conditions. There is no physical contact with the bees themselves.
4. Sound of bees working in the hive creates a relaxing special environment for people of all ages.

Beehive homes and beds may be used from early May until the first cold, depending on the type of insulation used in building them. The beehive homes or beds concept is based on the idea of having a bed on the top of 3 or 4 beehives connected with each other. Mattresses are placed on top of the hive to ensure comfort. A beehive bed is equivalent to suntan bed that fits one individual, while a beehive home may fit 2 or 3 individuals. It all depends on the actual design of the beehive house. A person(s) who sleep(s) in a beehive home or bed does not make direct contact with bees as bees are separated by a fine mesh 1 mm X 1 mm, which enables the air from the beehive to evaporate inside the beehive house or beehive beds.

Normally, there are no zoning restrictions, and no building or development permits are required as bee homes' total area does not exceed 6 to 8 square meters or 60 to 80 square feet. Bee beds are even smaller than bee homes. We can build a bee home or bee bed for you in accordance with your needs.
