We started out as a hobby apiarist more than 12 years ago, and now we are one of the top resources for environmentally friendly honey/apiary, probiotics, and beauty products.  

Our mission is to continue to provide the best possible honey and apiary products at their natural state to consumers at reasonable prices. 

As Western Canada's climate is very similar to the Siberian climate we recreated natural living conditions for bees that live in Siberia (Russian Federation). We created our hives that enable bees to live in the same natural wilderness-like conditions similar to the ones in Siberia to enable bees to live their natural life and let them do what they do best, to produce honey. Our beehives enable bees to produce honey of the highest quality which is normally produced in wilderness conditions.

Eco Apiary. com became and continues to be an environmentally friendly, safe, and sustainable beekeeping operation using environmentally safe modern beekeeping technologies to raise bees and produce natural raw honey and apiary-related products.  We offer pure, premium quality honey, and apiary products.

• We concentrate on quality rather than quantity and delivering honey and apiary products in their natural state to the consumer because we would like our customers to enjoy the benefits of real natural honey and apiary products. We are a small apiary that produces limited quantity and highest possible quality honey.

• We design and manufacture our own beehives, use environmentally safe materials and generate zero production waste as we utilize wood and other materials to their maximum potential.

• We have modified existing efficient beekeeping methods and developed energy-saving beehive concepts by combining natural traditional standards of beehive building & beekeeping with modern insulation & building standards of the construction industry and developed maintenance-free beehives thus enabling them to remain in their place outside, rather than having to move them inside and disturbing bees. This has resulted in eliminating unnecessary labour costs and creating an environment for the spring hive rejuvenation, a critical spring seasonal process for each hive. 

• We use effective and proven methods of beekeeping combined with modern technology to achieve the highest possible yields without compromising the quality of hone and apiary products. Our unique concept, methods of raising bees and harvesting honey and apiary products are new to Alberta as they differ from those currently used in Canada and the USA. 

• We will continue to improve our operations by improving beehive efficiency, streamlining our operations, and customer service. The demand for premium quality environmentally safe organic apiary products will grow. 

• We designed and implemented our third generation of energy-efficient and environmentally safe beehives to further minimize disturbance of bee nests, maximizing honey production, and preventing bee swarms. This enables us to visit our bees only three times per year (early spring for after winter checkup, the first part of August to collect honey and in the second part of September to prepare bees for winter) instead of visiting and disturbing bees several times per year. The third generation of our beehives proved to be the most efficient type of beehives. 

• Our beehives are left outside and do not need any additional modifications or covering for cold Canadian winters.
